PINK TUNA – NEW BATCH Effective March 27th 2018
This is another British Columbian gem. Pink Tuna is a remarkable cross of Tuna Kush and Pink Kush, bringing the best of both of its parents into a great, potent package. The strain was bred in Canada by 5 Star Organics who are also responsible for the infamous Black Tuna And no, it does not smell like tuna—it has got a really heavy aroma though, so best to keep it double-bagged! Bringing two layers of Kush heritage, Pink Tuna is a bit of a knockout and may be overwhelming for first-time consumers. Expect an indica-heavy buzz that’s great for treating chronic pain.
With its strong indica character, Pink Tuna is a great heavy-duty medication for treating a variety of symptoms. Consumers have found it particularly useful in stimulating appetite, relieving stress, inducing sleep, and alleviating chronic pain. In terms of its general effects, you can expect all the best you’d regularly get from an indica: euphoria, couch-lock, munchies, and mostly body-buzzing relaxation. For best results, try to save this bud for nights when you don’t have much to do—its reputation as a pain reliever is due in no small part to its strong sedative effects. Best to not operate heavy machinery and all that . . .
The physical characteristics of Pink Tuna are just what you’d expect from the offspring of such prodigious parents. We’ve got light, fluffy buds sporting a healthy coat of shining trichomes, with orange hairs, hues of dark green and even glimpses of purple. The nose exhibits strong notes of classic kushyness, along with hints of skunk, earth, and flower. On a short inhale the earthy and musky aromas are reminiscent of coffee. On a deeper inhale and when the flowers are broken up the signature sweet pink aroma comes out. Expect dark green buds splotched with flashes of purple that have a classic Indica appearance.
Long story short, this is some quality smoke. With Pink Tuna, you get the best of two tried and true members of the great Kush dynasty. This is some stinky bud with medical-grade effects, worthy of even veteran smokers.
